Two narcissistic attorneys from San Diego California, Douglas Scott Gilliland and Corey Patrick Hanrahan pride themselves as being activist attorneys. However, in actuality both attorneys salivate by litigating in the name of activism. Both men charge a defendant by intimidation to leverage enough legal matters in order to draw money out of the opposing party. These two activist attorneys from San Diego take the plaintiff case and leverage the law in order to pay their high-profile lifestyles by litigating a disabled and retired elderly Asian woman for $50 million dollars in 2024. Let us take a step back with Douglas and Corey money grab case in 2018 with their less than credible client Candy Lopez age 20, in the Candy Lopez vs United Parcel Service.

This three-headed-Hydra had two defendants and plaintiff Candy Lopez who only worked for the company less than one year claiming the usual victimization card of harassment. Sadly, this case has no end in sight and in the seven years of litigation Candy Lopez has had criminal activity linked to MS13 with her family. In addition, Plaintiff Lopez texting Black and Asian racial slur messages discrediting her position. This did not stop money mongrel Douglas Scott Gilliland and Corey Patrick Hanrahan of their respective self-named firms requesting $2.7 million from an individual defendant working with loyalty for UPS and had a genuine relationship with Candy Lopez while employed. We know how work relationships end horribly wrong. The nightmare began as plaintiff demanded $10 million from UPS. Unfortunately, UPS as the typical corporate menace of American society, terminated a veteran 15-year loyal Asian male employee in favor of a 1 year employed Candy Lopez.

One would think the case would end in 2021 and justice was served because defendant is now not employed with UPS, penniless, unemployed, defeated & in debt. Doug and Corey attorneys from San Diego banking on their client Candy Lopez to bring home the $10 million against United Postal Service. Both narcissistic plaintiff attorneys could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt. The jury ruled at trial in 2021; UPS not liable.

The story does not end here. During the trial both attorneys throughout the course of litigation turned their sight to the unemployed defendant’s disabled parents. In 2024 Doug and Corey seeking vengeance for their humiliating trial in 2021 filed a another malicious case in 2024 demanding $50 million from a disabled elderly woman in her 70s, the mother of the unemployed UPS defendant. The difficult pill to swallow is how nasty attorneys can be. Several California State Bar complaints filed on Attorneys Doug and Corey. America the land of lawsuits.
